Botanical Pots Mod [1.21.3] [1.21.1] adds a simple yet effective way to automate the process of collecting trees. Now you can fertilize a flower pot to grow a sapling in it. When the sapling grows, wood and saplings will simply drop from the pot, which can then be easily replanted using vanilla blocks.
