EnchantOnce reworks the mechanics of enchanting and repairing. The cost of repairing damaged items is now always fixed at 2 levels, and the “too expensive” restriction has been completely removed. Instead of using duplicates for repairs, you can now use base materials—for example, phantom membranes for elytra. Additionally, enchanted items can have their enchantments extracted into books, and enchanted books can be duplicated using blank books.
